Frédson Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Salles in the 10th minute of play. When Ezequiel Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the EC Fut Zone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Silveira couldn't finish the play. Franklin de Queirós hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Gláuber Matorin sped through São Paulo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Herbert Svensson. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ezequiel Silveira to strike the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guga Dracena couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, São Paulo's Frederico Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frédson Miranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Herbert Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Silveira in the 92nd minute of play. Frederico Salles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frédson Miranda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. São Paulo played a much better game than EC Fut Zone and deserved their victory. The EC Fut Zone players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
