Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jânio Figueiredo in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frédson Miranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diguinho Rodrigues's late challenge caught a Massape EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diguinho Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. Diguinho Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Gláuber Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natã Mineiro having to interfere. Natã Mineiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gláuber Matorin in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Massape EC had won after a very even match.
