In the 25thth minute of the game Váldson Britto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limeira's Wiliam Bittencourt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Váldson Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Bittencourt having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Váldson Britto in the 32nd minute of play forced Limeira's goalkeeper Wiliam Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes in the game, Juan Machado fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nando Cerezo having to interfere. Váldson Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Bittencourt having to interfere. Váldson Britto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Váldson Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When José Augusto Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Bolivia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Augusto Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Rosado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bolivia FC's Nando Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Rosado in the 57th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Clemente Dracena fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Váldson Britto came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Bolivia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Váldson Britto couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes in the game, Clemente Dracena fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Wiliam Bittencourt having to interfere. Bolivia FC's Váldson Britto got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juan Machado might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nando Cerezo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Machado ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Limeira's Wiliam Bittencourt got control of the ball when Váldson Britto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bolivia FC's Filipe Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ulisses Messias fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Limeira's protests and gave Ulisses Messias a yellow card for diving instead. Váldson Britto might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wiliam Bittencourt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Váldson Britto ran back to his position shaking his head. The Limeira players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
