The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Melhor Que o Kleber FC. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Mangalatiba SC. Acácio Santana stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alessandro Barral. 1-0. Geovanni Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedrinho Queiroz's late challenge caught a Mangalatiba SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrinho Queiroz helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Melhor Que o Kleber FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Queiroz. Dé Abreu's late challenge caught a Mangalatiba SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dé Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mangalatiba SC booed when Melhor Que o Kleber FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovanni Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geovanni Berger to make the kick off. The Mangalatiba SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Melhor Que o Kleber FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
