An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio Travassos in the 6th minute of play forced Melhor Que o Kleber FC's goalkeeper Alessandro Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. vinicius's Murillo Baiano suffered a concussion in the 6th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Túlio Cavalcante fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melhor Que o Kleber FC's protests and gave Túlio Cavalcante a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Túlio Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basílio Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Basílio Travassos made a precise shot to the right of Alessandro Barral. Melhor Que o Kleber FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Renatinho Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Alessandro Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Melhor Que o Kleber FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Túlio Cavalcante hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Basílio Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 minutes of play, vinicius's Ernani Senna made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Barral was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio Travassos in the 34th minute of play forced Melhor Que o Kleber FC's goalkeeper Alessandro Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Ciro Barreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Melhor Que o Kleber FC's zone, Basílio Travassos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Barral came out of the goal and Basílio Travassos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Basílio Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Túlio Cavalcante to strike the kick off in the second half. Ernani Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernani Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Basílio Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Melhor Que o Kleber FC's zone, Cláudio Sabóia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Barral came out of the goal and Cláudio Sabóia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basílio Travassos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Alessandro Barral made a huge save. Didi Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alessandro Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of vinicius booed when Melhor Que o Kleber FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Túlio Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dé Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Melhor Que o Kleber FC's Alessandro Barral got control of the ball when Basílio Travassos tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Basílio Travassos took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Alessandro Barral to make any attempt to save it. In the 95th minute, Renatinho Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Giovani Dante sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Melhor Que o Kleber FC's Alessandro Barral didn't even have to move. vinicius played a much better game than Melhor Que o Kleber FC and deserved their victory. The Melhor Que o Kleber FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
