The wind increased when Olavo Donato made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geraldo Dias during the 51st minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauro Tinoco couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Lauro Tinoco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olavo Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Olavo Donato got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
