The supporters of FLAMONT FC. booed when GSA04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafim Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Serafim Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Benê Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the GSA04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benê Macedo couldn't finish the play. In the 49th minute, Benê Macedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GSA04 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Oswaldo Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benê Macedo in the 56th minute of the match. FLAMONT FC.'s Nico Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernandão de Sousa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvinho Linhares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 69 minute of play. If Benê Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind FLAMONT FC.'s goalkeeper Oswaldo Ribeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Serafim Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Oswaldo Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benê Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvinho Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão de Sousa having to interfere. GSA04's Fernandão de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Linhares in the 99th minute of play. GSA04's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
