Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) EC Copero y Peleador's Mathias Negri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Nico Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Mathias Negri might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cauã Lara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mathias Negri ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in redenção FC's zone, Mathias Negri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cauã Lara came out of the goal and Mathias Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Yan Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yan Botelho might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cauã Lara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yan Botelho ran back to his position shaking his head. Cauã Lara came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by EC Copero y Peleador's Mathias Negri. But to his dismay, Mathias Negri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Yan Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Lara having to interfere. Durval da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Lara having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Mathias Negri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mathias Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antônio Tavares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cauã Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Mathias Negri struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Cauã Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EC Copero y Peleador. Nico Leme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half EC Copero y Peleador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Luiz Gustavo Trancoso made the kick off in the second half. EC Copero y Peleador's Arlindo Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Gustavo Trancoso in the 54th minute of play. Arlindo Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Leme in the 57th minute of play. If Mathias Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mathias Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Cauã Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mathias Negri came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the EC Copero y Peleador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Negri couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute, Nico Leme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arlindo Tande was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The supporters of redenção FC booed when EC Copero y Peleador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position.
