In the 32nd minute, Norberto Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Tavares in the 34th minute of play forced ARSENAL FC's goalkeeper Armandinho Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. EC Copero y Peleador's supporters rose to their feet, but Antônio Tavares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armandinho Rossi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duda Diniz might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armandinho Rossi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duda Diniz ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of ARSENAL FC booed when EC Copero y Peleador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ARSENAL FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. EC Copero y Peleador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
