Kauan Damião's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cauã Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Marcelo Pinho was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiliam Gaúcho got free with Cauã Lara in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Vítor Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. GRÊMIO MAUAENSE's Sidnei Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Leme in the 63rd minute of play. Nico Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Gustavo Trancoso during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cauã Lara was a little too slow when Kauan Damião got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-2.
