In the 30th minute, Ricardinho Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deivid Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilmar Mumbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Armandinho Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardinho Neto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gilmar Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Armandinho Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilmar Mumbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute Gilmar Mumbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armandinho Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Neto in the 72nd minute of play forced real flamengo's goalkeeper Fiori Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cláudio Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Ricardinho Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Nico Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. real flamengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nico Fantini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fiori Abreu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 83 played minutes real flamengo got a freekick which was hit by Acácio da Silva. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilmar Mumbach in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armandinho Rossi saved ARSENAL FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nico Fantini got free with Armandinho Rossi in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nico Fantini's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Armandinho Rossi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gilmar Mumbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Armandinho Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
