Anísio Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Duda Diniz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mathias Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Nuno Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Monjolada SS got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Gaspar. After 15 played minutes Monjolada SS got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Vianna. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilson Rocha in the 23rd minute of play forced EC Copero y Peleador's goalkeeper Arlindo Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Nilson Rocha made a precise shot to the right of Arlindo Tande. EC Copero y Peleador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 26th minute, Norberto Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Monjolada SS's Nuno Eger got control of the ball when Cipriano dos Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cláudio França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Nuno Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Rony de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno Eger was a little too slow when Norberto Pernambucano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-1. Duda Diniz struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Nuno Eger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EC Copero y Peleador. Mathias Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathias Negri was the one to do the kick off. Nuno Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Monjolada SS's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Pernambucano came free, but Nuno Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Nuno Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Monjolada SS's Nuno Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Tavares in the 64th minute of play. Nuno Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. EC Copero y Peleador's Duda Diniz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nuno Eger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Antônio Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Zé Roberto Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EC Copero y Peleador were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Monjolada SS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Duda Diniz took the corner. Arlindo Tande was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mané de Andrade. Duda Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Duda Diniz came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the EC Copero y Peleador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duda Diniz couldn't finish the play. In the 97th minute of the match Duda Diniz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nuno Eger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
