In the 32nd minute Kléber Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Acácio Motta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Enéas Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Acácio Motta to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Acácio Motta notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Prainhas AD's Mateus Paranaense. Mateus Paranaense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Prainhas AD booed when Coapoa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enéas Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateus Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléber Rossi in the 57th minute of the match. In the 64th match minute, Prainhas AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Mateus Paranaense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kléber Rossi went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When Edgar Vianna came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Coapoa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Vianna couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Prainhas AD's zone, Enéas Paraibano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateus Paranaense came out of the goal and Enéas Paraibano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geovânio Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Acácio Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Paranaense having to interfere. Kléber Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enéas Paraibano struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Mateus Paranaense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coapoa. Enéas Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Paranaense having to interfere. Prainhas AD's Mateus Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Rossi in the 90th minute of play.
