Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) César Vieira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the match, Baiaozinho's goal looked a bit too open when César Vieira came free, but Fellipe Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adhemar Varela hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Renatinho Loureiro's late challenge caught a Timão Mito AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renatinho Loureiro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Baiaozinho getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Renatinho Loureiro hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Timão Mito AFC's Gernando Prestes tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Timão Mito AFC fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Timão Mito AFC's César Vieira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If César Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Baiaozinho's goalkeeper Fellipe Hermes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Clóvis Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Baiaozinho's Roberto Pitta got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, Timão Mito AFC's Gernando Prestes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 34th minute César Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fellipe Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Roberto Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César Vieira struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Fellipe Hermes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timão Mito AFC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renatinho Loureiro to make the kick off. Roberto Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Róbson Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Baiaozinho's goal looked a bit too open when César Vieira came free, but Fellipe Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Clóvis Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clóvis Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, César Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Renatinho Loureiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Róbson Veloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers César Vieira in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fellipe Hermes saved Baiaozinho from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Roberto Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baiaozinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Pitta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Róbson Veloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
