The audience was convinced that Luisinho Valle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogério Perez was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisinho Valle was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in 28 de Outubro's zone, Renato Salgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germano Pernambucano came out of the goal and Renato Salgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gugu Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Luisinho Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tiradentes getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jonas Garcia hit a great ball. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tiradentes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dieguinho Pinheiro was slow to take the kick. During this time 28 de Outubro's players had a chance to rest. 28 de Outubro's Dieguinho Pinheiro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rogério Perez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Germano Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean de Carvalho in the 74th minute of the match. Lenílson Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lenílson Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tiradentes booed when 28 de Outubro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenílson Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germano Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 de Outubro's Germano Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Salgado in the 96th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
