Raúl Machado might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmo Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After a defensive mix-up in Tribobo SS's zone, Frédson Albuquerque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manoel Pitta came out of the goal and Frédson Albuquerque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ludovico FC's Dalmo Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís de Queiroz in the 26th minute of play. Dalmo Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeu Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Luís de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Ludovico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Machado came free, but Dalmo Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tribobo SS getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Manfredo das Neves hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Zé Arantes took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Dalmo Almeida to make any attempt to save it. Frédson Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalmo Almeida didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. Manoel Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
