JV Lideral's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ipueiras FC the free kick. After 28 played minutes JV Lideral got a freekick which was hit by Raphael de Lima. After 32 minutes, Noel Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JV Lideral and the Ipueiras FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to JV Lideral getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Noel Queirós hit a great ball. If Moisés Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Régis Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho de Azevedo having to interfere. Marcinho de Azevedo came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Ipueiras FC's Moisés Borges. But to his dismay, Moisés Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 67th minute, Ricardinho Motta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Abel Perez came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the JV Lideral fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Perez couldn't finish the play. Jarbas Varela hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Marcinho de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés Borges in the 77th minute of the match. When Ricardinho Motta fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ipueiras FC's protests and gave Ricardinho Motta a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 82 minutes, Noel Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JV Lideral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 83 minutes, Moisés Borges mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ipueiras FC and the JV Lideral players grew even worse after the yellow card. Moisés Borges hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Moisés Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Moisés Borges came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ipueiras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moisés Borges couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Edmílson Arce put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of André Luís Barral. The Ipueiras FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ipueiras FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
