Reinaldo Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Hílton Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in MDP Team's zone, Gilberto do Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hílton Marinho came out of the goal and Gilberto do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto do Valle in the 18th minute of play forced MDP Team's goalkeeper Hílton Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MDP Team's zone, Reinaldo Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hílton Marinho came out of the goal and Reinaldo Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With 27 minutes on the clock, Lenílson Toledo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ajacio SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! In the 29th minute there was a penalty for MDP Team. Romeu França stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fabrício Diniz. 1-1. MDP Team's Breno Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 39 minutes, Reinaldo Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ajacio SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reinaldo Queiroz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Hílton Marinho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Reinaldo Queiroz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Hílton Marinho made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinaldo Queiroz made a kick off. Reinaldo Queiroz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hílton Marinho having to make a save. If Reinaldo Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Breno Zanette came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the MDP Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breno Zanette couldn't finish the play. Reinaldo Queiroz scored 2-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hílton Marinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Décio Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Paulo Tinoco fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ajacio SS's protests and gave Paulo Tinoco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Paulo Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hílton Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinaldo Queiroz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hílton Marinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Guga Xavier hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Queiroz notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of MDP Team's Hílton Marinho. Hílton Marinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Breno Zanette who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Fabrício Diniz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Décio Maciel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabrício Diniz having to make a save. Doni Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ajacio SS had played much better football throughout.
