César Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th match minute, Camelo Puro Malte F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dito Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. César Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Barbosa having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Segundo Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. E C JUVENTUDE's supporters rose to their feet, but Segundo Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. César Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Veloso hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Segundo Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E C JUVENTUDE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Segundo Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camelo Puro Malte F.C's César Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Abreu in the 25th minute of play. Segundo Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th match minute, Camelo Puro Malte F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Segundo Romero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without César Barbosa having to make a save. A collision led to E C JUVENTUDE getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Pedro Cunha hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the game, one of Camelo Puro Malte F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Oscar Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. César Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Camelo Puro Malte F.C's zone, Segundo Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Barbosa came out of the goal and Segundo Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Valdo Tande made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Segundo Romero fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of César Barbosa, passed just outside the right post. César Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Oscar Siqueira sent off a good shot on target. E C JUVENTUDE's Segundo Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Oscar Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César Abreu struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. César Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for E C JUVENTUDE. Segundo Romero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. César Barbosa came out and tried to block the shot, but Segundo Romero slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 63rd minute. 68 minutes into the match, Camelo Puro Malte F.C's goalkeeper César Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Romero. Segundo Romero might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over César Barbosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Romero in the 92nd minute of play forced Camelo Puro Malte F.C's goalkeeper César Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Siqueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. E C JUVENTUDE's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
