A collision led to Bonitao EC getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Dadá Linhares hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dadá Linhares to make the kick off. Fla Merda FC's Ronaldo Bezerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Fla Merda FC from getting a goal against them. After 67 played minutes Bonitao EC got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Severo. After 77 played minutes Fla Merda FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho Perez. 84 minutes into the match, Fla Merda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Linhares came free, but Ronaldo Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manoel Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dadá Linhares in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldo Bezerra saved Fla Merda FC from getting behind. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
