The supporters of Congonhas SC booed when Yugoslavia Legacy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Fernandes in the 12th minute of play forced Congonhas SC's goalkeeper Gil Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Quadros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Costa's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After 32 minutes of play, Congonhas SC's Hélder Leite made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yugoslavia Legacy's goalkeeper Bruno Quadros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Marco Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yugoslavia Legacy's protests and gave Marco Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Yugoslavia Legacy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Vargas to maneuver through the defense. Hélder Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseu Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. But to his dismay, Marcus Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Yugoslavia Legacy's Marco Vargas got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Marco Vargas off the ground. In the 76th minute, Marco Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Congonhas SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Yugoslavia Legacy throughout the match.
