Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tony Britto kicked off to start the match. Adelino de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisinho Rossi having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Igor de Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute of the match Adelino França sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adelino de Castro skillfully saved the ball. Adelino de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Siqueira in the 9th minute of the match. Adelino de Castro came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Caioba SC's José Vítor Zonta. But to his dismay, José Vítor Zonta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 17 minutes into the game, Dorian Paulista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caioba SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Votuporanga Victory the free kick. Tony Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Caioba SC's Amílton Siqueira in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Votuporanga Victory's goalie prevented a goal. Votuporanga Victory's Tony Britto got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor de Toledo in the 35th minute of play forced Caioba SC's goalkeeper Luisinho Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tony Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Velloso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caioba SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Votuporanga Victory the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Carlos Augusto Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caioba SC's Adelino França couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Votuporanga Victory. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amílton Siqueira made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Rony Brito could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Adelino de Castro however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Caioba SC's José Vítor Zonta got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Votuporanga Victory's goal looked a bit too open when Amílton Siqueira came free, but Adelino de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Rony Brito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adelino de Castro. Votuporanga Victory's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rony Brito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 61st minute Amílton Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílton Siqueira in the 66th minute of play forced Votuporanga Victory's goalkeeper Adelino de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Votuporanga Victory's goal looked a bit too open when Amílton Siqueira came free, but Adelino de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Votuporanga Victory's Adelino de Castro got control of the ball when Rony Brito tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute José Vítor Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Votuporanga Victory's Adelino de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílton Siqueira in the 78th minute of play. Adelino de Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rony Brito in the 83rd minute. Tony Britto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisinho Rossi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Rony Brito took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adelino de Castro. Adelino de Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The Caioba SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
