Dorian Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Quintal having to interfere. Aníbal Quintal was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Vágner Medeiros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vágner Medeiros really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 24th minute, Pézuda FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vágner Medeiros fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Vágner Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilian Mota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Aníbal Quintal made a huge save. When Dorian Sergipano, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 35 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Aníbal Quintal was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Barre Futebol Clube's Johnatan Barragán dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Dorian Sergipano in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aníbal Quintal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dorian Sergipano to strike the kick off in the second half. Dorian Sergipano might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aníbal Quintal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dorian Sergipano ran back to his position shaking his head. Christian Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Aníbal Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlinhos Custódio's late challenge caught a Barre Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aníbal Quintal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Wilian Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. Aníbal Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
