The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Massape's Túlio Marinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Massape from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Indaial Rosa booed when Massape was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Túlio Marinho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fiori Cruz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Fiori Cruz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Túlio Marinho. Fiori Cruz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Adelino Figueiredo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Túlio Marinho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 35th minute, Fiori Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Túlio Marinho. Massape's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Túlio Marinho made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Fiori Cruz sent off a good shot on target. Guga de Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Túlio Marinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Fiori Cruz in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Túlio Marinho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Guilherme Senna scored 5-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Túlio Marinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 56 minutes into the game, Indaial Rosa's Fiori Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Túlio Marinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Fiori Cruz put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Túlio Marinho. After some careless play in the Massape defense, Fiori Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Túlio Marinho. The Massape fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Túlio Marinho should have stopped the shot. Fiori Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Fiori Cruz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Indaial Rosa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Fiori Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Marinho having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Massape's zone, Adelino Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Túlio Marinho came out of the goal and Adelino Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fiori Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Túlio Marinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fiori Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd minute Romeu Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeu Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Túlio Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96thth minute of the game Fiori Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Massape's Túlio Marinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Indaial Rosa had played much better football throughout.
