Tostão Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeu Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Indaial Rosa's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Lopes came free, but Breno Custódio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Luiz Bernardo FC's goalkeeper Tostão Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fiori Cruz. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Indaial Rosa's Romeu Munhoz in the 41st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Tostão Salles was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Luiz Bernardo FC through an amazing save. Rogério Prado charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogério Prado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Rogério Prado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Tostão Salles managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Indaial Rosa's Fiori Cruz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Adelino Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tostão Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fiori Cruz went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fiori Cruz was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Adelino Figueiredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Indaial Rosa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Luiz Bernardo FC's Tostão Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardinho Queiroz in the 63rd minute of play. Fiori Cruz took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tostão Salles. Tostão Salles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Adelino Figueiredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tostão Salles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 86thth minute of the game Fiori Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luiz Bernardo FC's Tostão Salles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Adelino Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fiori Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Indaial Rosa were the better team. Indaial Rosa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
