The supporters of Uari AD booed when Hiame UXX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Maurício Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uari AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurício Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 100th minute Erasmo Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeferson Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Uari AD supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Uari AD would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
