After 12 played minutes Quarany got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Fantini. Délio Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Arrudeiro SS getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Fernandão de Brito hit a great ball. Geraldo Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Nóbrega in the 22nd minute of the match. Matheus do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Jorginho Nóbrega recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geraldo Terra. Jorginho Nóbrega showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jorginho Nóbrega made the kick off in the second half. Geraldo Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Délio Mandrak struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Jorginho Nóbrega's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geraldo Terra was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Frédson Cunha hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Jorginho Nóbrega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arrudeiro SS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
