After 59 minutes, Ademir Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zebrandia and the Miritituba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Miritituba FC's zone, Edson Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nando Almeida came out of the goal and Edson Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zebrandia's Vinícius Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enio Brito in the 71st minute of play. Augusto Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the game, Miritituba FC's Maurinho Severo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vinícius Paiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 83rd minute, Edson Porto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Zebrandia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Miritituba FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Miritituba FC.
