With a little luck, Hiame UXX's Jeferson Queirós got control of the ball when Délio Mandrak tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Arrudeiro SS's Jorginho Nóbrega slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jeferson Queirós. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Fabrício Saraiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oséias Sena went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 14 minutes into the match, Arrudeiro SS's Jorginho Nóbrega sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeferson Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Délio Mandrak, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 16 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jeferson Queirós was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 17th match minute, Hiame UXX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Eger to maneuver through the defense. Délio Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeferson Queirós having to interfere. Jeferson Queirós made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Délio Mandrak sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Nóbrega in the 30th minute of play forced Hiame UXX's goalkeeper Jeferson Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Délio Mandrak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jeferson Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Délio Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jeferson Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Arrudeiro SS's Jorginho Nóbrega ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jeferson Queirós. Jeferson Queirós yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. In the 44th minute, Jorginho Nóbrega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hiame UXX's zone, Jorginho Nóbrega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeferson Queirós came out of the goal and Jorginho Nóbrega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Jeferson Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorginho Nóbrega's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Dráuzio Moreno's late challenge caught a Arrudeiro SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dráuzio Moreno helped the player get up and apologised. Dráuzio Moreno hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Jeferson Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Délio Mandrak in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Arrudeiro SS's Edmundo Brasil seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edmundo Brasil the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Arrudeiro SS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edmundo Brasil had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Arrudeiro SS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hiame UXX:s goal. 73 minutes into the match, Arrudeiro SS's goalkeeper Fabrício Saraiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egídio Gerber. After 75 minutes of play, Arrudeiro SS's Délio Mandrak made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeferson Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! Délio Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeferson Queirós having to interfere. Arrudeiro SS's Délio Mandrak got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hiame UXX's Chico Faria got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Délio Mandrak in the 85th minute of play forced Hiame UXX's goalkeeper Jeferson Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Arrudeiro SS fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Arrudeiro SS's Délio Mandrak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fabrício Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Sena in the 92nd minute of play. After 99 played minutes, Arrudeiro SS's Oscar Vieira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jeferson Queirós came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arrudeiro SS reached it. Arrudeiro SS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
