In the 20th match minute, Dragoes da Real FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murillo Dantas got free with Edmundo Gaspar in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaká Mattos in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walmyr Marquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 35 minutes, Rogério Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Hera Fenix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dragoes da Real FC's Edmundo Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Urbano in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st play minute Murillo Dantas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edmundo Gaspar. 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wágner Urbano made a kick off. Walmyr Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walmyr Marquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaká Mattos in the 59th minute. Murillo Dantas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmundo Gaspar having to make a save. 2-0 became the score in the 66th minute when Wágner Urbano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Wágner Urbano sped through Dragoes da Real FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edmundo Gaspar. Walmyr Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilson de Amorim in the 73rd minute of the match. After 79 played minutes Dragoes da Real FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Augusto Antunes. After 80 played minutes, Nova Hera Fenix's Fred Donatello shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edmundo Gaspar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nova Hera Fenix reached it. Edmundo Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Urbano in the 84th minute of the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Nilson de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dragoes da Real FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilson de Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Murillo Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Gaspar having to interfere. Ismael Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Wágner Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Hera Fenix's supporters rose to their feet, but Wágner Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmundo Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nova Hera Fenix fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dragoes da Real FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
