Belford Roxo Football's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Válter de Godoi scored to the left of an out of position Thomás Soares, making the score, 2-0. 16 minutes into the match, Belford Roxo Football's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Mello came free, but Thomás Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Alan Oliveira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thomás Soares. The goal made the score 3-0. Dedê Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Alan Oliveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomás Soares. Belford Roxo Football's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alan Oliveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Belford Roxo Football's zone, Alan Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomás Soares came out of the goal and Alan Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alan Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 34 minutes, Válter de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EC Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válter de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Alan Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. EC Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomás Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alan Oliveira in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thomás Soares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruninho Marquez to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, EC Salvador's Alan Oliveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomás Soares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 57thth minute of the game Alan Oliveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belford Roxo Football's Thomás Soares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th match minute, Belford Roxo Football was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Benê Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Belford Roxo Football's Alexandre Monteiro got a free kick in the 67th minute. EC Salvador's Dedê Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alan Oliveira in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomás Soares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 82 played minutes Belford Roxo Football got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Freitas. Alan Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thomás Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Oliveira in the 88th minute of the match. With 91 minutes on the clock, Alexandre Monteiro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 91st minute, one of Belford Roxo Football:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Belford Roxo Football. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for EC Salvador. Dedê Mello stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Thomás Soares. 6-0. Belford Roxo Football's Thomás Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter de Godoi in the 99th minute of play. EC Salvador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
