Spectators: 5005 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1004, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lúcio Passos made the kick off which started today's match. Germano Sabóia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Wilton Britto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Germano Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albertinho Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Gilmar Toledo, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Espera SS's zone, Gino de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilton Britto came out of the goal and Gino de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ademar Soares fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASTRT's protests and gave Ademar Soares a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Espera SS booed when ASTRT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademar Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes Espera SS got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Campidelis. 36 minutes into the game, Espera SS's Lúcio Passos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Xavier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Germano Sabóia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Wilton Britto made a huge save. When Gino de Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the ASTRT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gino de Queirós couldn't finish the play.

In the 50th match minute, Espera SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elano Toscano to maneuver through the defense. If Gino de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilton Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Sabóia in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Germano Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Xavier made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Luan Valladares sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute, one of ASTRT:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ASTRT. Elano Toscano hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haroldo Berger during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ASTRT's Haroldo Berger got a free kick in the 66th minute. Espera SS's Lúcio Passos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 67th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Raúl Trigo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Germano Sabóia came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the ASTRT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano Sabóia couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Germano Sabóia in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilton Britto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Germano Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Britto having to interfere. Marcos da Costa hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Wilton Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Sabóia in the 96th minute of play.
