In the 22nd minute of the match, Felippe Vieira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Diguinho Machado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. João Paulo Esteves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diguinho Machado having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Felippe Vieira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diguinho Machado was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. João Paulo Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Osvaldinho Carneiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tijolo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EnzoFC the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Tijolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. Felippe Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tijolo's zone, João Paulo Esteves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diguinho Machado came out of the goal and João Paulo Esteves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 39 minutes, João Paulo Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EnzoFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Paulo Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Felippe Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Felippe Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, EnzoFC's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Sabóia came free, but Valdomiro Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After a rather tough play, EnzoFC's Frédson Rosado got a free kick in the 66th minute. Tijolo's Silas Sabóia got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute João Paulo Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felippe Vieira in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diguinho Machado saved Tijolo from getting behind.
