After a defensive mix-up in ABC F.C's zone, Válter de Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tales Ferreira came out of the goal and Válter de Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ABC F.C's Tales Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Souza in the 5th minute of play. After 6 minutes of play, EC Salvador's Alan Oliveira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tales Ferreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Oliveira in the 10th minute of play forced ABC F.C's goalkeeper Tales Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tales Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Mello in the 12th minute of play. If Alan Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Tales Ferreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EC Salvador. Tales Ferreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alan Oliveira's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Válter de Godoi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ABC F.C's Tales Ferreira. Tales Ferreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Alan Oliveira made the kick off in the second half. EC Salvador's Alan Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Válter de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ABC F.C's Tales Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Oliveira in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of ABC F.C booed when EC Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. ABC F.C's Tales Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Souza in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes in the game, Válter de Godoi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tales Ferreira having to interfere. When Alan Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the EC Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Oliveira couldn't finish the play. Válter de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tales Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ABC F.C getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Abelardo Ribeiro hit a great ball. Tales Ferreira made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Dedê Mello sent off a good shot on target. After 82 played minutes ABC F.C got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Passos. In the 86th minute, Válter de Godoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EC Salvador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Albertinho Matorin's late challenge caught a EC Salvador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albertinho Matorin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Válter de Godoi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tales Ferreira. The goal made the score 0-4. The ABC F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. EC Salvador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
