Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cacá Cerezo in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oswaldo Cerezo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cacá Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Cerezo having to interfere. The supporters of Bizurigo FC booed when Pompeiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wágner de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Valdemar Romero fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pompeiro's protests and gave Valdemar Romero a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pompeiro getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Valdemar Romero hit a great ball. Joélson Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Donato in the 18th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Pompeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã Araújo to maneuver through the defense. Cauã Araújo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 22 minutes of play, Bizurigo FC's Edmílson do Nascimento made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joélson Saldanha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pompeiro's Joélson Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Donato in the 25th minute of play. When Cauã Araújo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 26 minutes had been played. Cacá Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Betão Vieira hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Cacá Cerezo made the kick off in the second half. Wágner de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Pompeiro got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Mattos. In the 66th minute, Júlio Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joélson Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When Edmílson do Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Bizurigo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmílson do Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Edmílson do Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Joélson Saldanha made a huge save. Júlio Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
