Maximo Umea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kléber Veloso got free with Maximo Umea in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Fanfa FC booed when Sports Lago de Aripuanã was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximo Umea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio Cavalcante in the 31st minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Célio Cavalcante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sports Lago de Aripuanã's Maximo Umea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
