Sidnei Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Pelada do Zé Br's Gilvan Madureira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Osvaldinho Borges. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dino Cardoso was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Maurício Lucas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Betim FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pelada do Zé Br the free kick. In the 54th match minute, Betim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Lucas to maneuver through the defense. The Betim FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldinho Borges should have stopped the shot. In the 81st match minute, Betim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldinho Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan Madureira in the 83rd minute of the match.
