Spectators: 7085 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 10) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Silvério Falcão made the kick off which started today's match. Reginaldo Esteves's late challenge caught a S&V FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reginaldo Esteves helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Posses's Reginaldo Esteves got a free kick in the 6th minute. Chiquinho Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvério Falcão in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hílton Prestes saved Posses from getting behind. In the 11th match minute, S&V FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Faria to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute of the match Romeu Nóbrega shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Falcão Lira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinho Mattos got free with Hílton Prestes in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Posses's goalkeeper Hílton Prestes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinho Mattos. Posses's Hílton Prestes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Posses from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Posses's Reginaldo Esteves got a free kick in the 18th minute. Claudinho Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Claudinho Mattos made a precise shot to the right of Hílton Prestes. Posses's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to Posses getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Reginaldo Esteves hit a great ball. Claudinho Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 31 in the game by Claudinho Mattos from a close distance when the talented Hílton Prestes managed to make a qualified save. Posses's players were relieved. Nando de Carvalho might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Falcão Lira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nando de Carvalho ran back to his position shaking his head. Claudinho Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Prestes having to interfere. Silvério Falcão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hílton Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvério Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Falcão Lira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nando de Carvalho went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Hílton Prestes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudinho Mattos went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Claudinho Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Falcão in the 61st minute of play forced Posses's goalkeeper Hílton Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nando de Carvalho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Falcão Lira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luís de Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to S&V FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Silvério Falcão hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Claudinho Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot. S&V FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinho Mattos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hílton Prestes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes in the game, Luís de Mendonça fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Falcão Lira having to interfere. Falcão Lira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís de Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. S&V FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Posses for a fine match.
