In the 4th minute of the match Ramiro Sena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joélson Madureira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Itaipu FPRMZ booed when Bar100lona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Décio Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Edson Marinho scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joélson Madureira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Décio Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Itaipu FPRMZ's Edson Marinho got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edson Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Joélson Madureira made a huge save. Joélson Madureira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edson Marinho in the 30th minute. If Edson Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Gabriel Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Madureira having to interfere. 52 minutes into the game, Tiago Gabriel Leite cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Joélson Madureira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edson Marinho took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joélson Madureira. Joélson Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Edson Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itaipu FPRMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Edson Marinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joélson Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiago Gabriel Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Joélson Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Teodoro Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tiago Gabriel Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Tiago Gabriel Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bar100lona getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Nilton Favoretto hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cido Cerezo during the 71st minute. Teodoro Alves hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Edson Marinho took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joélson Madureira. Joélson Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. If Edson Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Itaipu FPRMZ were the better team. Itaipu FPRMZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
