Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alexandre Fernandes got the match started through his kick off. Alexandre Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Arthur Pernambucano made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, Iuarete's goalkeeper Arthur Pernambucano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulinho Paes. After a rather tough play, Gameleira's Alexandre Fernandes got a free kick in the 11th minute. Arthur Pernambucano was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Alexandre Fernandes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexandre Fernandes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 21 minutes into the game, Iuarete's Lauro Branco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente de Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Paulinho Paes struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Arthur Pernambucano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gameleira. When Erik Motta fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iuarete's protests and gave Erik Motta a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Iuarete's Erik Motta got a free kick in the 26th minute. Gameleira's Matheus Sanches couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Iuarete. Paulinho Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Pernambucano having to interfere. The supporters of Gameleira booed when Iuarete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. A long shot from Matheus Sanches in the 31st minute of play was well struck, but Arthur Pernambucano made a really good save at the right post. Arthur Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Arthur Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Fernandes in the 33rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Arthur Pernambucano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Paulinho Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulinho Paes came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arthur Pernambucano could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Iuarete's zone, Paulinho Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Pernambucano came out of the goal and Paulinho Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arthur Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lauro Branco to make the kick off. Erik Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Matheus Sanches was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Iuarete's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Fernandes came free, but Arthur Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Alexandre Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ediberto Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Alexandre Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vicente de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro Branco in the 67th minute of the match. Arthur Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Fernandes in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Gameleira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando do Vale to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Pernambucano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandre Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute Alexandre Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Motta hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Iuarete's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Fernandes came free, but Arthur Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th match minute, Iuarete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Motta to maneuver through the defense. When Gameleira's Alexandre Fernandes in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Iuarete's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ediberto Bezerra during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th minute, Ediberto Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alexandre Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Paulinho Paes came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Gameleira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulinho Paes couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Gameleira players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
