Yan Cabral's late challenge caught a Classis Spes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yan Cabral helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Hanniballs F.C's Umberto Cosme got control of the ball when Zé Paulo Paes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute Eliseu Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yan Cabral got free with Almir Loureiro in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jardel Vianna might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Almir Loureiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jardel Vianna ran back to his position shaking his head. After 89 minutes of play, Classis Spes's Zé Paulo Paes made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Umberto Cosme was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Classis Spes players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
