Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vânderson Mendonça took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Vânderson Mendonça notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hanniballs F.C's Umberto Cosme. Umberto Cosme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. João Paulo Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdemar Nogueira hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Vânderson Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vânderson Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto Cosme having to interfere. A collision led to Hanniballs F.C getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Nelsinho Passos hit a great ball. Vânderson Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Umberto Cosme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camboapina. After a defensive mix-up in Hanniballs F.C's zone, Vânderson Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Umberto Cosme came out of the goal and Vânderson Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Vágner Bueno fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Camboapina's protests and gave Vágner Bueno a yellow card for diving instead. Vágner Bueno hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Jardel Vianna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Paulo Couto having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olavo Toscano in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Umberto Cosme saved Hanniballs F.C from getting behind. Vânderson Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Umberto Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hanniballs F.C's Umberto Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Toscano in the 39th minute of play. After some careless play in the Camboapina defense, Nelsinho Passos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Paulo Couto. The Camboapina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Paulo Couto should have stopped the shot. After having played for 48 minutes, Olavo Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camboapina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olavo Toscano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

53 minutes into the game, Eliseu Correia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. João Paulo Couto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Camboapina! In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Hanniballs F.C. Valdo Lopes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving João Paulo Couto. 3-1. A hard shot 65 in the game by Olavo Toscano from a close distance when the talented Umberto Cosme managed to make a qualified save. Hanniballs F.C's players were relieved. Vânderson Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Umberto Cosme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Yan Cabral charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yan Cabral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yan Cabral hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Eliseu Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hanniballs F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseu Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hanniballs F.C's Eliseu Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 85 played minutes Camboapina got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Diniz. Umberto Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vânderson Mendonça in the 90th minute of play. When Vânderson Mendonça fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Camboapina's protests and gave Vânderson Mendonça a yellow card for diving instead. Vânderson Mendonça hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Jardel Vianna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Paulo Couto having to interfere. João Paulo Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The audience was convinced that Jardel Vianna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Paulo Couto was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. If Olavo Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
