Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Igor Tande started the match with the kick off. Mateus Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Júlio de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Tande in the 4th minute of the match. After 4 played minutes Cisne Negro MZ Club got a freekick which was hit by Vitinho Paiva. 7 minutes into the match, Cotias EC's goalkeeper Júlio de Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano Gonçalves. Adriano Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Júlio de Medeiros made a huge save. 12 minutes into the game, Adriano Gonçalves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Júlio de Medeiros. Adriano Gonçalves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Serginho Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Giovani Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adriano Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Júlio de Medeiros made a huge save. 26 minutes into the match, Cotias EC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Tande came free, but Júlio de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Cipriano Paraense made a precise shot to the right of Júlio de Medeiros. Cotias EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 33rd match minute, Cisne Negro MZ Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo do Valle to maneuver through the defense. Serginho Salgado struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ciro Perez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cotias EC. After a rather tough play, Cisne Negro MZ Club's Cipriano Paraense got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovani Baiano in the 40th minute of play forced Cisne Negro MZ Club's goalkeeper Ciro Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giovani Baiano to make the kick off. Adriano Gonçalves scored 4-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio de Medeiros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute, Adriano Gonçalves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cisne Negro MZ Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Júlio de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Júlio de Medeiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Tande went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After 65 minutes, Igor Tande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cisne Negro MZ Club and the Cotias EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Igor Tande hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Adriano Gonçalves's late challenge caught a Cotias EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adriano Gonçalves helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cotias EC booed when Cisne Negro MZ Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 minutes of play, Cisne Negro MZ Club's Gilmar Messias made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júlio de Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Júlio de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Serginho Salgado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ciro Perez, passed just outside the right post. In the 80th minute Gilmar Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute of the match, Giovani Baiano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ciro Perez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cotias EC's Júlio de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Messias in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Paraense in the 85th minute of play forced Cotias EC's goalkeeper Júlio de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cisne Negro MZ Club's Igor Tande got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Júlio de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilmar Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Júlio de Medeiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilmar Messias went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 95 minutes, Giovani Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cotias EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giovani Baiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cisne Negro MZ Club fully deserved thier win.
