Ciro Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Luz in the 4th minute of play. Adriano Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Pedro Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to NEW YORK TITANS getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Duda de Brito hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, NEW YORK TITANS's goalkeeper Pedro Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano Gonçalves. Adriano Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Pedro Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cisne Negro MZ Club. After 24 minutes of play, NEW YORK TITANS's Leopoldo Valle made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciro Perez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute Igor Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to NEW YORK TITANS getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Valdir Cosme hit a great ball. Gilmar Messias hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Tande in the 37th minute of play forced NEW YORK TITANS's goalkeeper Pedro Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Igor Tande's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Costa was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Adriano Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Costa having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Leopoldo Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 48 minutes, Adriano Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cisne Negro MZ Club and the NEW YORK TITANS players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Luz to strike the kick off in the second half. If Igor Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th match minute, Cisne Negro MZ Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Paraense to maneuver through the defense. If Adriano Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Costa came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Cisne Negro MZ Club's Gilmar Messias. But to his dismay, Gilmar Messias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Igor Tande scored 2-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Costa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adriano Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Tande's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. When Adriano Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Cisne Negro MZ Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. Cristian Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Cisne Negro MZ Club's Adriano Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cisne Negro MZ Club had played much better football throughout.
