Jouquarinha's Nelsinho Donato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Jouquarinha from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute Armando Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diamantino Bastos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Nelsinho Donato 20 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilton Fernandez in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelsinho Donato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25thth minute of the game Nilton Fernandez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jouquarinha's Nelsinho Donato was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Didi Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelsinho Donato having to interfere. Jorginho Carvalhos short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Nelsinho Donato to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 36th minute, Jorginho Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Didi Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelsinho Donato having to interfere. Nelsinho Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Munhoz in the 39th minute of the match. Marcelo Cunha's late challenge caught a Estocomo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Jouquarinha got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Cunha. With his leg Nelsinho Donato managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Estocomo FC's Diamantino Bastos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nelsinho Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Carvalho in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Estocomo FC's Diamantino Bastos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Diamantino Bastos took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelsinho Donato. Nelsinho Donato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Diamantino Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diamantino Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Nelsinho Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Jouquarinha defense, Jorginho Carvalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelsinho Donato. The Jouquarinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelsinho Donato should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Estocomo FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Paraíba. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elano Gomes in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jorginho Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estocomo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorginho Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nelsinho Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manfredo Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Didi Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estocomo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Didi Munhoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nelsinho Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Diamantino Bastos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estocomo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Estocomo FC had played much better football throughout.
