Spectators: 7145 (Terracing: 5430, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 50) Estocomo FC's Nilton Fernandez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abelardo Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton Fernandez in the 3rd minute of play. When Paulão Vides fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castanhao SS's protests and gave Paulão Vides a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Castanhao SS got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Vides. In the 13th minute Jorginho Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Mauro Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramiro Rocha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Diamantino Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Abelardo Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorginho Carvalho in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute Nilton Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Paulão Vides was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 27 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Castanhao SS's Paulão Vides got a free kick in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cauã Favoretto got free with Ramiro Rocha in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nilton Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jorginho Carvalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abelardo Bueno was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Abelardo Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Acácio Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Diamantino Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Abelardo Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilton Fernandez in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Castanhao SS's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Maciel came free, but Abelardo Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Estocomo FC's Nilton Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauro Cunha made a kick off. Frédson Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Abelardo Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Didi Munhoz struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Abelardo Bueno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estocomo FC. Jorginho Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58thth minute of the game Nilton Fernandez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castanhao SS's Abelardo Bueno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Estocomo FC's Nilton Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the game, Nilton Fernandez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abelardo Bueno. Nilton Fernandez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Didi Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Abelardo Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diamantino Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vivaldo Couto during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 80 in the game by Nilton Fernandez from a close distance when the talented Abelardo Bueno managed to make a qualified save. Castanhao SS's players were relieved. 81 minutes into the game, Castanhao SS's Mauro Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramiro Rocha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 85 minutes into the match, Castanhao SS's goal looked a bit too open when Nilton Fernandez came free, but Abelardo Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Acácio Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Acácio Leal hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. If Frédson Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes in the game, Jorginho Carvalho fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Abelardo Bueno having to interfere. When Estocomo FC's Didi Munhoz in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Castanhao SS's goalie prevented a goal. Castanhao SS succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Estocomo FC had controlled the match.
