When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdemar Soeiro made a kick off. In the 52nd minute César Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdemar Soeiros short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Edson Meirelles to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. César Braga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celso Cardozo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Jailson Cardozo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edson Meirelles came out and tried to block the shot, but Jailson Cardozo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 58th minute. When Valdemar Soeiro came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Chakkall TTDS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdemar Soeiro couldn't finish the play. Chakkall TTDS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
