After 3 minutes of play, Chatinho EC's Anderson Trancoso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celso Cardozo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dorival de Salles hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Celso Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christiano Fantini during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chatinho EC's Christiano Fantini got a free kick in the 13th minute. Chatinho EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Jailson Cardozo scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Carneiro, making the score, 1-1. In the 20th minute, Carlos Fernando Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeca Nogueira during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chatinho EC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Zeca Nogueira hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Chatinho EC's Zeca Nogueira got a free kick in the 31st minute. Delfim Loureiro charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delfim Loureiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chakkall TTDS's Valdemar Soeiro came free and shot a quick shot against goal 40 minutes in the game, fortunately Ricardo Carneiro had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Ricardo Carneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdemar Soeiro's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Ricardo Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Soeiro in the 44th minute of play. Delfim Loureiro hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Chatinho EC's Ricardo Carneiro got control of the ball when Maurinho Vianna tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Jailson Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ricardo Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Tião Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdemar Soeiro in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardo Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Jailson Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anderson Trancoso struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Celso Cardozo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chatinho EC. In the 68th match minute, Chakkall TTDS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubens Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. Jailson Cardozo struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ricardo Carneiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chakkall TTDS. Valdemar Soeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Chatinho EC's Christiano Fantini got a free kick in the 74th minute. Ricardo Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson Cardozo in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Chakkall TTDS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anderson Trancoso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Chatinho EC's Ricardo Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson Cardozo in the 86th minute of play. Zeca Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Chakkall TTDS's Carlos Fernando Capixaba in action when he in the 94th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Chakkall TTDS were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
