Felipe Xavier started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, EE LEMENSE's Tarcisio Correia seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tarcisio Correia the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of EE LEMENSE protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tarcisio Correia had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of EE LEMENSE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of VapoVapo FC:s goal. If Vito Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wiliam Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute of the game, Rodriguinho Castro landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 15th minute, Ulysses França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vito Freire in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wiliam Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kauã Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wiliam Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vito Freire's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wiliam Moreno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Kauã Fontes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of VapoVapo FC's Wiliam Moreno. Wiliam Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 31 played minutes EE LEMENSE got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses França. Wiliam Moreno didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when EE LEMENSE's Vito Freire shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodriguinho de Sena in the 39th minute of play forced VapoVapo FC's goalkeeper Wiliam Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Vito Freire ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wiliam Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafinha Meira to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Vito Freire lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Wiliam Moreno. 57 minutes into the match, Vito Freire notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of VapoVapo FC's Wiliam Moreno. Wiliam Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th minute, Vito Freire left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EE LEMENSE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Mazinho Marinho's late challenge caught a VapoVapo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mazinho Marinho helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to EE LEMENSE getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Mazinho Marinho hit a great ball. In the 65th minute of the match Renan Donatello shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Américo Borges showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wiliam Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauã Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Vito Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Inácio Sanches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, André Luís dos Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VapoVapo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EE LEMENSE the free kick. A collision led to VapoVapo FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. André Luís dos Santos hit a great ball. Vito Freire's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wiliam Moreno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. EE LEMENSE's Kauã Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. EE LEMENSE's Hugo Brodel was substituted for Vito Freire. Hugo Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Wiliam Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Brodel took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wiliam Moreno. Wiliam Moreno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. When the match was over EE LEMENSE could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than VapoVapo FC throughout the match.
