Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Romeu Valle kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Notreve FC's zone, Cristóvão Corrêa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Cabral came out of the goal and Cristóvão Corrêa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 6 minutes, José Maria Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Petróleo EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Maria Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Notreve FC defense, José Maria Ramos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquim Cabral. The Notreve FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquim Cabral should have stopped the shot. Simão Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Cabral having to interfere. After 12 minutes of play, Petróleo EC's José Maria Ramos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquim Cabral was left in no man's land by his defense there! José Maria Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luan Vaz during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes Notreve FC got a freekick which was hit by Luan Vaz. In the 33rd minute of the match Francisco Freitas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquim Cabral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Notreve FC's Joaquim Cabral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Notreve FC from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute of the match Marcel Marquez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquim Cabral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. José Maria Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 played minutes Notreve FC got a freekick which was hit by Luan Vaz. With his leg Joaquim Cabral managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Petróleo EC's José Maria Ramos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luan Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luan Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Maria Ramos made a kick off. Petróleo EC's José Maria Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Cristóvão Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petróleo EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Corrêa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petróleo EC's Amadeu Sanches proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Petróleo EC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Dida Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petróleo EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dida Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If José Maria Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Enéas Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Petróleo EC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Cristian Carioca hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Maria Ramos in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquim Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Notreve FC's Joaquim Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Maria Ramos in the 84th minute of play. After 86 minutes Notreve FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dida Koehler who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Notreve FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Juvenal do Vale hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, José Maria Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petróleo EC's supporters rose to their feet, but José Maria Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Luciano Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petróleo EC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
